DISTORTED BEAUTY

Distorted Beauty exhibit, Thursday April 8th 2010, at Station Digital Gallery in Tribeca. Photographer Caitlin Mitchell picked me up at home and while I was getting ready for BonBon, a weekly party I used to host for Suzanne Bartsch and Kenny Kenny at Juliet Supper Club in West Chelsea. She basically shot me from the start of the night until the very end. Several months later, the result was a series of 10 photos, retouched by Pixelspace.
My piece was the first thing the eye saw when you entered the gallery, and I was shocked at the size and vibrance of it. It's almost surreal to see yourself show cased in such a way. The response was overwhelming and positive. After wards, a reception was held at the posh Tribeca Grand Hotel, where my friends and I got buzzed on several "Fox on the Rocks" cocktails.
