EXHIBITIONIST

Friend and legend Kenny Kenny displayed 3 of his black and white photos at a recent art collaborative entitled BANZAI in Brooklyn. The exhibit was supposed to be shown for an entire month, but I found out today it was taken down so I wasn't able to see it. And I couldn't make it to the opening because I was hosting FUNERAL HOME at my apartment that night. My photo is the one on the far left. Out of the thousands of photos he has taken, I was chosen as one of the 3 displayed and I am beyond honored. He's having a complete showing of his photography in Chinatown this May. I will keep you informed.

Photographer Jeremy Kost shot me recently at the historic National Arts Club in NYC for his show "Ladies That Lunch" opening March 4th, 2010. It features a host of his favorite New York nightlife subjects in the guise of "society women", all shot in the context of the hallowed grounds and then installed in the club's gallery, "The Sculpture Court"." He takes tons of polaroids and pieces them together to form a whole picture. Fortunately, I will be at the opening of this exhibit. Pictures will follow.
